At Yeronga Chiropractic & Wellness Centre, our vision is simple: to provide the highest quality of healthcare through a professional and caring service. As our name suggests, we are proud to be able to offer a multidisciplinary approach to your care. We strive to achieve that goal by offering chiropractic as well as naturopathy. We have an experienced onsite Naturopath available as well as a network of other health care professionals on hand when the need for referral arises.

From infants in need of chiropractic adjustments to more mature generations struggling with chronic back pain, our wellness clinic in Brisbane welcomes patients of all ages. In all cases—no matter the age of the patient, the type of service or the nature of the treatment—our professionals will deliver service with the utmost care and work to achieve the best outcome for you as the patient.

Dr Aidan McGuigan

Chiropractor

B.App.Sc (Clinical), B.Chiro.Sc, Diplomate of Chiropractic Paediatrics

Aidan McGuigan graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne in 1997. He opened Yeronga Chiropractic in 2014 and is grateful for its continuing success and growth.

Aidan is an active member of the Australian Chiropractic Association (ACA) and has been so for the last 25 years, and has previously acted as secretary and a media spokesperson for the organisation and an executive board member of the Australian College of Chiropractic Paediatrics (ACCP).

Committed to fulfilling professional development requirements, Aidan regularly attends conferences and researches evidence on chiropractic paediatrics, neurology, sports therapy and injury management. In 2014, Aidan also completed his 2 year post graduate Diplomate in Chiropractic Paediatrics – one of a small group in Australia to do so.

Aidan enjoys working alongside a variety of healthcare professionals to support patient care and treatments. He co-manages with Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, GP’s, Massage Therapists and Acupuncturists, Exercise Physiologists and PT’s, Dentists, Mid-Wives and Medical Specialists.

Working with individuals from all walks of life, Aidan understands the importance of adapting his techniques to suit individual patient requirements. He utilises the manual techniques of Diversified, Gonstead and the Drop-piece table, and the lower force techniques of Sacro-Occipital Technique and Activator. Adopting a multimodal approach to treating patients, Aidan also incorporates muscle therapy and stretch, strengthening rehabilitative exercises as part of his management plan.

Yeronga Chiropractic covers treatments that are partly or fully covered by private health funds, Work Cover, DVA and CDM (GP referral) and NDIS patients.

Melissa Le Breton

Naturopath

B. Health Science – Naturopathy, B. App.Sc (Speech Path)

Melissa Le Breton studied Naturopathy, graduating in 2005. Her passion has been to work in a preventative healthcare model utilising nutrition through supplements and dietary advice and Herbal Medicine. Naturopathy focuses on treating the underlying causes of disease and assesses and treats the person as a whole.

Melissa worked as a speech pathologist for 8 years in Melbourne and the UK before realising her passion in natural medicine. With a knowledge and experience of working in hospital settings, she understands the complexities of treating chronic illness as well as symptoms of vague origin that have no medical diagnosis.

Melissa has a special interest in treating digestive conditions, emotional well being and Women’s Health. Since having 3 beautiful children of her own Children’s Health has become a big focus of her practice. Her aim is to identify and remove the underlying causes of illness rather than merely eliminate or suppress symptoms.

She works to assist women and children to gain better health. In particular, her focus covers preconception care, pregnancy; post natal advice; nutritional advice for babies and assist in treating childhood conditions such as colic, reflux, ear infections and allergies.

She is a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society since 2005.
